His Divine grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

Founder Acharya for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON)

His Divine Grace (Commonly known as Srila Prabhupada) started this worldwide movement at an advance age of 70 in 1966 in New York City. During last 12 years of his life, he circled the globe fourteen times spreading the message of Bhagvad Gita, Srimad Bhagvatam and other Bhakti literatures.

Before his passing away on November 14, 1977, he saw the society to grow to a worldwide organization of more than one hundred temples and farm communities.

Srila Prabhupada's most significant contribution is his books. Highly respected by the academic community for their authority, depth and clarity, they are used as standard textbooks in numerous college courses around the world. His writings have been translated into over fifty languages. The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, established in 1972 to publish the works of His Divine Grace, has become the world's largest publisher of books in the field of Indian religion and philosophy. 

All the lectures in this audio archives are based on the teachings of Srila Prabhupada. 

About the speaker: 

Prem Gopal Das has been a Bhakti Yoga practitioner and a spiritual teacher for more than two decades. He is actively involved with conducting classes, workshops as well as counselling and guiding children, youths, parents and adults. He is primarily based in Kolkata.   

He has done M. Tech in  Aerospace engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He had a short stint with GE before joining ISKCON as full time monk in the year 2008.
